Lubon Infra Chem’s Waterproofing Execution at Taj Tallest Building in India, Skyscape, Noida 129 Expressway

Lubon Infra Chem Pvt. Ltd executed specialized underground waterproofing works for Skyscape, a 57-storey ultra-luxury landmark development by Gulshan Group in collaboration with IHCL’s Taj brand, located along the Noida Expressway in Sector 129, Noida, Uttar pradesh, India. For this prestigious project, Lubon Infra Chem carried out a comprehensive below-grade waterproofing system designed to protect the structure against seepage, hydrostatic pressure, capillary water movement, and long-term water ingress. The scope included detailed pile head treatment, involving surface breaking, cleaning, sealing around pile foundations with FPO-based hybrid waterstops, epoxy bonding primer application, non-shrink micro-concrete reconstruction, epoxy grout sealing, and PU-based hydro-swelling sealant at pile and pile-cap junctions. The raft waterproofing system was executed using a fully bonded HDPE membrane with thermofused lap joints to create a continuous watertight barrier, further strengthened with swellable waterstops and integral crystalline admixture for enhanced durability and crack self-healing in RCC structures. For the retaining walls, the work included surface preparation, injection grouting of cracks and honeycombed areas, application of pure polyurethane liquid waterproofing coating, geofabric reinforcement at joints and corners, pipe sealing, and installation of dimple boards with geotextile to ensure proper drainage and long-term protection. This multi-layered waterproofing solution reflects Lubon Infra Chem’s capability to deliver technically advanced, durable, and reliable protection systems for high-rise luxury developments and critical underground structures.
